I am a very creative and imaginative person who is especially open to new ideas. I love to approach a conventional idea by walking around to the other side and exploring it from a novel perspective. What's new is what interests me. I focus my imagination on envisioning ideas, or events in completely original ways. I am intellectually progressive.
I am open to new ideas and learn from personal and interpersonal experiences, as well as from my classroom and textbooks. I light up at the thought of new ideas. Having conversations with people who share this way of thinking could be innovative, lively, and will ignite my imagination and maybe theirs.
My emotions are close to the surface. My life right now is in a good place. My mood is generally upbeat and I enjoy the richness and intensity of life that being open with my emotions brings me. More often than not I feel enriched by my emotions.
I am a cherished companion for those friends who can handle emotions well. My friends know that they can count on me to do what I have promised to do.
I like order and discipline. I work well with little 3rd graders with big problems. It comes from my years of teaching experience. I have a strong sense of responsibility. You can depend on me. I am proactive. I always make time for my friends. I am talkative and funny, but never out of control. I have a silly nickname that I've had since I was a child because of my corny jokes.
I am careful, not given to impulsive behavior. I don't mind change, as long as everything is the same afterwards. I get things done. I am a complex and sometimes complicated person.
I enjoy the company of others. But I also like to be alone. Depends on the moon cycles, or the ocean tides, I guess. I am comfortable in my own skin. I a "California casual" kind of woman. I can lead, or I can follow. I am great conversationalist, and a good listener. I have a dry, wicked sense of humor.
My perfect match would be amiable, relaxed, respectful. I need someone who is truthful, monogamous, not high-maintenance. I would like someone who can be a best friend and a lover. My perfect match would respect and admire the work that I do. Teaching is one of the most important things in my life. I'd like someone who has interests of their own, but not to busy to be with me. I do not like "clinging vines." My man would definitely have to have a mind of their own, and be able to keep up with me, intellectually, emotionally, and intimately. I do not require a lot of upkeep when it comes to material things. I do well on my own. I love loving, cuddling, spooning, kissing, exploring. I don't mind PDAs. My perfect guy would love the beach, music of all kinds (pop, rock, Celtic, Zydeco, Pavarotti, Country...) books, The Beatles, watching sports (especially tennis, gymnastics, World Cup), Law and Order type shows, PBS. He wouldn't mind me having some private time, or time with my family and friends.
